Mum and Dad came back a few days ago and although we have really liked Aunty Lucy and Uncle Chris looking after us, it's not as good as having our mum & dad back. We didn't know they were coming home and just thought Uncle Chris was coming to stay the night when we heard the gate close, and then when we looked out of the window mum and dad were coming up the drive. Me and our Brandy were running around all over, we didn't know who to say hello to first.
Mum sat down on the settee and then we could both get close to her to say hello and she hugged us both really tight. Then we went to see daddy and he gaves us a big hug too.
Since then, we haven't wanted them to go out incase they didn't come back again. But we've had lots of walks and played in the pool a lot, our Brandy can fetch our new yellow spikey toy out of the pool when mum & dad throw it in, I can't do it 'cos I can't swim as good as our Brandy. And anyway, I think the water is getting colder so I don't think I want to go in it anymore. I heard mum saying something to Dad about it being cooler than before they went away. I don't understand what she was saying about centigrades and things, I know about centipedes but I've never seen a centigrade!
Anyway, we still see Aunty Lucy, we called last night on our way back from our walk to say goodnight and she was really pleased to see us, and mum says we can go and visit Uncle Chris tomorrow for a doggy G&T, 'cos he spoils us a lot. He thinks he's giving us something really special so I don't like to tell him it tastes just like our water at home.

Now Dad's gone and Uncle Chris and Aunty Lucy are looking after us
Well, no sooner had we got used to mum not being here but now dad's gone as well. We have Uncle Chris, who gives us doggy G&T's when we go past his place on walks, well he's staying with us at night and makes our scrambley eggs for breakfast, and then aunty Lucy comes to takes us for a walk and we go and spend the day with her. They are looking after us really well. They've told us mum and dad will be back next week but we know we will get lots of hugs and biscuits while they are away.
They told us that mum's daddy who was really poorly has passed away and that mummy is really sad, which is why daddy has gone to be with her. When she comes back we're going to give her lots of hugs to make her feel better 'cos we know how sad we feel when she's only gone for a few days and Aunty Lucy said that mummy won't ever be able to see her daddy again, and that's so sad.

Mum's going again.
We've just been told that mum's going away again to visit her dad, who lives along way away, so we won't see her for a while - and I won't be able to write on here, but please come back in a week or so, she should be back then - please, please, please, we hope she isn't away too long - daddy looks after us really well but we really miss mum when she goes away.

Today, we went to the top of the world!

It's really hot at the moment and mum wanted to take us for a walk somewhere there would be a breeze so it was more comfortable for us.
So, we were off in the car - only about 10 minutes and when we got out we were on top of the world -and it was windy up there - it felt nice.
We could see all the way down, there was a good path to walk on but Dad wouldn't take us. He said it was a long way down - and while going down was ok, coming back would be a problem - and, having discussed it with our Brandy - we reckon he was right. We had a walk around the top instead and then when we got home, we went visiting to a nice lady who gave us lots of cuddles - and beef BBQ crisps! We like going visiting, every one thinks we're so cute they spoil us.

A few days practice and look at him now.........
I think our Brandy's getting too good in the water, now look at him - hitching a ride with mum!

I don't like going in but I do just to please mum. I let her hold me and take me in to the water but as soon as I feel I've been in there long enough - I swim to the edge.
However, I do join him for a drink now and again.
That's me on the left. Cute, aren't I?

I cannot believe it - she let go!!!!
Not happy with getting our Brandy's feet wet, mum then picked him up and walked all the way into the pool with him.
And then
She let him go!
I could hardly bear to watch....but he was ok,
he ran through the water and reached the steps, where he got out.
He said it was quite good fun and I should have a go - not!

OK, we knew it would happen...........!
It's got 'otter and 'otter and I've told you before about mum and dad taking us in the shower to cool us down, but me and our Brandy have always avoided the big pool mum and dad spend so much time in.
We had gotten quite brave and started to go to the edge to talk to mum and dad but that was where it all went wrong. They managed to grab our Brandy and took him in with them. He wasn't very 'appy and he'd only got 'is back feet wet!

But it was about to get worse........
Oh, soooooo much worse!!!!

Donde esta mi padre?
So, mum's started going to see a lady who's making her talk funny. Apparently, our Brandy is no longer my brother, he's now 'mi hermano' and whenever Dad goes outside we get asked 'donde esta tu padre?'
What worries me is if we can't find out what 'biscuit' is in this funny speak how will we know when we can have one? Our Brandy says not to worry but I think it's best to be prepared, especially where biscuits are concerned.
So, this is me waiting to ask one of the spanish doggies that go past our house what 'biscuit' is in spanish.
