Is this the 11th fairway?

Mum and Dad play golf.....a lot! Now, me and our Brandy don't understand what golf is but today we went on a really long walk to a new golf course that is near where we live. It's not open yet so we were allowed to walk around it - well, really Mum and Dad wanted a look to see what the new course is like.

Me & our Brandy were allowed off our leads so we could run around and we found this green stuff - now, we don't have green stuff on the floor here, it;s all sand, or concrete, or tarmac, or what I think is volcanic rock - well, that's what it looks like and feels like.

Our Brandy says he can remember some green stuff from when we really young and lived in the other house and that it's called grass, but I don't.

Anyway Dad said it was a fairway and we weren't to run through the bunkers (the what?) but we had a great time chasing each other across the fairway and we decided if this is what 'golf' is then we can understand why Mum and Dad enjoy it so much.

I hope we can go to golf again soon.
