Apparently, we used to smell like a dog, but not anymore!

Today it was sunny,

Today it was warm,

Today it was bathtime!

Apparently Dad said we were smelling like dogs and we're not supposed to. Don't ask me what we should smell like but the first really sunny day and we were in the bath.


I told our Brandy we may as well 'stand still, let 'er get on wi' it and it would soon be over'. I got done first and it only took a few minutes. I had to stand in the bath and have water showered all over me, then I got all soapy and that wasn't too bad 'cos we still have some puppy shampoo left and that's quite nice and mum's always careful not to get it near our face. I don't like getting my ears done but she never makes the water go in our ears so thats ok. Then all the soapy stuff was washed off and I was wrapped in a huge big towel and took outside to dry off in the sun. Actually, that bit was quite nice.

Our Brandy went in next and he stood still like I suggested and it didn't seem like 2 minutes had gone before he was outside with me drying off in the sun.





Then, would you believe it Mum & Dad got in that big tub of their's at the top of the drive and when they'd been in there a while, they got out and came and sat in the sun to dry. I thought it was something they made us do but if they do it as well, it must be ok!

So Mum says we are now soft, fluffy and sweet smelling - good job we don't have a tough image to maintain - we'd be laughed down the street!
