2 puppies, 1 ball!

We've always shared everything and mum and dad always make sure we both get the same but our Brandy is taking things to the extreme.

Mum bought something at the shop the other day, I think it was half a chicken (roasted) which we got to share and for some reason there was this little ball attached to the packet as a 'freebie' she said.

Don;t know what she's on about (but now't new there) BUT we got the little ball to play with. It's really soft and quite bouncy and when mum throws it, we end up chasing it all the way past the villa to the gates by the road. Fortunately, Dad's blocked the bottom of the gates in so it doesn't roll underneath, unfortunately, that also stops us getting out underneath - hey ho!

Anyway, me and mum were playing quite nicely when, as usual, our Brandy comes and butts in. Well, I weren't having him take the ball back to mum everytime so she told him what a clever boy he is 'cos I'm clever as well. So, we ended up both taking it back - it was hard to keep hold AND run in a straight line at the same time - but we did it.

Mum thought it was funny so took our photo!

P.S. Our Brandy's started to eat the ball, so it;s half the size it was - guess it'll be even harder to hang onto in future.

Go on Brinkley, you get it!

We don't like water, we don't like baths and we don't like that huge pool mum & dad spend so much time in - but...... our ball keeps ending up in it.

Today, it seemed to be in the pool more than not, and mum and dad got fed up of fishing it out - so our Brinkley and me thought we'd have a closer look - but we couldn't get it.

I thought our Brinkley should get it but he wouldn't......

......and I weren't getting my feet wet.

So, we just had to wait.

Hey, our mum's in a box.

Me & our Brandy's been talking all day about mum not being here, and how we miss her, Brandy's really moping about today. Dad's taken us for walks and given us our scrambly egg for breakfast and everything but it's not the same.

Then tonight Dad was sat at the table on the computer when all of a sudden we could hear mum talking. We looked around for her but we couldn't find her - but we could hear her. Then Dad picked us up onto his knee and suddenly we could see our mum in the box on the table that I do my blog on. We could see her and we could hear her, and although it's not the same as her being here 'cos we couldn;t have a hug, it was really good.

I heard her saying to Dad something about the Sky, but she didn't say it properly, she kept saying Skype...... however it was happening it was really good to see and hear her. She may be in the box for whatever reason, but at least we know she's ok and she still loves us both. We just need to work out how to get her out of the box now.

She's gone again, Dad!

Well, she's gone again! She went out with Dad last night in the car and he came home on his own. We kept looking for her, but by bedtime she still wasn't home and we had to go to bed without mum, which we don't like. Our Brandy especially likes to cuddle up to mum when he goes to sleep so I gave him an extra special hug before we went to sleep last night.

Dad says that mum's gone back to England to see her daddy who isn't very well and that she will come home as soon as she can, and we know dad will look after us really really good, but we are looking forward to having her back home again.

Come back soon mum, we both love you loads.

What can we chew now?

Mum & Dad have an annoying habit of spotting what we have decided to chew and making it difficult, no - impossible to get to.

I've already showed you our hard work one night when they were out, when we ripped up a newspaper they left on the table. I know mum has also written about the map which now has a hole in it.

So, as they make it harder and harder for us we have to get cleverer and cleverer. Well, me and our Brandy thought we had been really clever. We have this really comfy settee, I've put photos on before - it's red and leather and nice.

Anyway, we can get round the back and there's room for us to get our noses through the back and there's this nice, soft, green, spongy stuff that's really good to chew. So, when mum & dad are out, that's what we do. I showed our Brandy where to go and he could do it as well.

Anyway, mum & dad kept coming home and finding this green stuff all over the floor, because we'd been chewing it - but they didn't know where it was from, because we was really clever and kept it hidden - but mum's really clever as well and she found our secret chewing place.

Then dad tipped the settee upside down and put all this sticky black tape over it and stapled the cover back in place, yeah, like that's going to stop us - not a chance. First we pulled the cover off, then we chewed the black stuff and then we could get to the soft chewy green stuff again.

Well now, the settee is in prison - just like we were on the ferry, and we can't get to it anymore. It's a shame because we liked chewing it.

Now, what else is there to chew on........?

How to stay cool when it's 45 degrees outside.

Look what they do to us every day! We won't go near the pool even though Mum & Dad go in every day and they don't seem to get hurt, but me and our Brandy aren't daft - we don't go anywhere near. When they get out of the pool they get under this shower thing. Now we don't understand this and we've talked about it a lot - why, when they have been in a big pool and got soaking wet all over do they get out and then stand under a shower to get all wet - people, they do the funniest things!

Anyway, this is where we get involved -when they get under the shower they take us in as well. It's cold and wet and we aren't really keen BUT when we get out it feels really good to have cold wet fur and it keeps us really cool for ages and ages. At first we didn't like it and we used to struggle to get away but now we just let them hold us under the water because it feels really good afterwards. This is our Brandy with Dad!

Now, I wonder what 45 degrees means!

Hurray - Mum's back home!

Well, our Dad took us for a ride in the new car. We were in it for ages and ages but we were ever so good because it's really nice and there's loads of room. We don't go in our travel box now 'cos there's this special place at the back of the car where me and our Brandy can walk around if we want and it's dead comfy. Dad says it's 'carpeted so we don't slide around'.

Anyway, when we got out we were in this really odd place, we've never been anywhere like it before. There were lots of people with coloured box things, most of them with wheels that they could pull along. We had to be careful not to let them run over our paws with them.

We went to wait in the room and there were loads of other people there, and they were all just standing around. Sometimes, this door would open at the end of the room and some more people would come out with more coloured boxes on wheels. Dad said we should keep looking to see if we saw anyone we knew - but we didn't. Still, lots of people we didn't know kept coming over and stroking us and saying nice things about us.

We were there ages and ages. Dad kept taking us outside for a little walk around and then we would go back into this room, but he stayed with us all the time.

Then, after we'd been there ages the door opened again and loads more people came through but this time we saw someone we knew, it was our mum. We were dead excited to see her and gave her loads of hugs and kisses. She hugged us for ages and ages and we didn't want her to stop, but after a bit she did. Then we all went back to the car and she came home with us.

Dad looked after us really good - but it's nice to have mum back!
