Don't tell anyone but............

............ our Brandy's knee hasn't slipped for 3 days now. Mum's been taking us on long walks again and our Brandy's been fine. We chase around the villa after anything and everything that moves whether it's a cat or a leaf - well, these leaves need to be taught a lesson just as much as the cats do. Brandy's even jumping up onto the bed to say good morning - but he still waits to be lifted down again, but I think he's just taking advantage.

It's good having my bruvver running around chasing things with me 'cos he can do fetch better than I can. This is him taking the moo cow back for Dad to throw it again.

Official Christmas Photo

Mum got all dressed up to go out today for her Christmas lunch with the ladies group she goes to, so she made us have our photo taken - I think I look pretty good in it - don't you?
Dad couldn't be in it because he was taking it! Sorry Dad!

Our Brandy's not havin' an operation

Our Brandy has finished all his tablets and still has a little problem wiv his leg in that it pops out a couple of times a day. But it doesn't stop him running around after me, chasing after cats when they come too near or jumping up onto mum's knee so I can't sit there. He still bullies me away from my dinner unless our mum's there and still follows after me when we are playing fetch and then takes the toy off me to take back to mum so he gets all the 'good boy' comments.

He sometimes pretends his legs poorly just to get more attention although I think mum and dad are wise to this as they never leave me out and I get lots of cuddles too. And it didn't stop him getting a haircut yesterday even though he didn't want one.

But it doesn't hurt him when it pops out, and it doesn't surprise him and he seems to know how to click it back in to place when it goes and until it's back to normal he just stands still with his leg stuck out at a funny angle.

So, mum has said he doesn't need an operation which we are glad about 'cos last time we had an operation it really hurt and we felt really horrible for a few days afterwards.

I still wish he wouldn't be such a bully at times though - he says he's not a bully, he's just 'top dog!' I've watched a film with mum called 'Top Gun' - is that the same sort of thing does anyone know?

We've got a new toy box.

Mum's always clearing our stuff up. We spend all day putting our stuff where we want it and then every night, she moves it back again. Anyway, she's been buying some new furniture stuff for when we move into the new house after Christmas. Well, when it got delivered, there was this big wooden box that mum says is a treasure chest for keeping our special things in - then she put all our toys in there. We couldn't believe it - our blankets went in there, our toys went in there and we cannot got them out unless Mum or Dad are there to get them for us. We are only allowed to have 3 or 4 toys out at one time - well we both have our favourites and sometimes it's difficult to choose.
One good thing though, Mum also keeps the bag with all our combs, brushes and scissors in there - maybe she'll close the lid and forget where they are so we don't have to be brushed all the time - nah, don't thinks so - the woman is obsessed with brushing us!!
Anyway, that's us above trying to choose the toys for today - I wanted Moo Cow 'cos he's really soft and squidgy.......and doesn't squeak everytime you grab him. Brandy let me choose 'cso he didn't want to jump up with his poorly leg.
